Let’s Get The Meaning Of Curvaceous Right First Okay!

Hey Curvies!

I just wanted to share something with you. This Curvaceous Expo has been really interesting, and I mean some of the things people say is so mind-blowing especially when it comes to talking about full-figured women and the sole purpose of the expo. I had a conversation with some one and I was telling them about how important it is to  have this expo in the Phoenix area. There are a lot of people who really don’t know what the term Curvaceous, Full Figured or Plus-Size mean. I love to educate especially when a person has a certain mind-set of these words. So let me say this so that I can vent real quick (curvy ladies you know where I am going with this right!).  Let’s look up the meaning:

The meaning of Curvaceous- having an attractively curved shape.

The meaning of Voluptuous- a woman that’s large — but in all the right places. Voluptuous is a curvy compliment.

The meaning of Full-Figured- having an amply proportioned or heavy body (Now there is still some questionable definitions on this word)

The meaning of Plus-Size- of a size larger than the normal range.

By looking at these definitions I did not see anything negative about the description of the word. People need to stop assuming that when any of these words are used it means that we do not want to be healthy, beautiful or we wear muu muu’s. To be honest some of the most confident women I have seen out here are Curvaceous, Voluptuous, Full Figured and Plus Size. I will be the first to say that we rock anything we wear. There are a lot of people out here that are stuck in the dark ages, because we are taking over honey!
